As the Chief Engineer I am responsible for managing the overall technical development of the vehicle, ranging from setting all of the high level design goals to running testing days to optimize and tune the vehicles performance. I also work with team members to achieve these goals by assisting with their designs, manufacturing, and testing of their system or sub-systems.

As the Structures Lead, I am responsible for the design, development, and implementation of critical structural components of the car such as the main structural suspension geometry.  I utilize finite element analysis software to simulate load cases on parts, back up hand calculations, and correlate this back to real-life testing in order to ensure all FEA models are set up correctly and in a representative manner. I serve as the teams subject matter expert on structural mechanics and other topics such as material science.
